neat freak :)

It could be beacuse my mom washes the dishes completely before they go into the dishwasher, or because my dad vacuums the garage floor... but somehow I became a total neat freak. Its not a bad thing. I mean, my room is spotless [[especially right now, since our house can be invaded by potenitial buyers anytime]], my car is dirt free, and my binder and back pack is ALWAYS organized. Even ask some of my friends... I clean up after them everytime they are at my house!!! And because of this clean-ness, I rarely lose anything[[with the exception of keys, which I have lost or locked in my vehicle a few times]]. My brother on the other hand, loses everything he comes in contact with. Its kind of funny actually.

Anyways, as I was rearranging my room today I realized this crazy part of me. I suddenly had to put EVERYTHING away. Every bobby pin, penny, and pencil anywhere in my room. Now that it is all done, I feel very accomplished. Everything is in its place and I don't even want to go to bed tonight because it will mess up my bed and blankets. hehe. Its good have a clean room. Now I just want to go sit in there and admire it. But unfortunetly there is nothing to DO in there, so I'll have to wait until I go to sleep. Anyways that is all for now. :)

aww flip...

Well I had this sweet pictrure I was going to post, but my computer is being dumb. I feel like I haven't posted anything in a long, long time. Me and Jessica have been so busy making pasta every day of our lives that I haven't had time to do this. haha just jokinggg. Anyways... a little update of the coolness of my day to day life:

Sunday: We made some yummy pasta. Someone had the idea to blow up an egg in the microwave, and it worked :) haha. Jessica beat up Dylan for about an hour and a half.

Monday: We hung out with Farah, watched Sweet Home Alabama [[my favorite part is when she redecorates Jake's house, he opens the fridge and, with a digusted look on his face, says, "CHICK FOOD?" haha I love it.]], made more pasta, bought 64 cent candy hearts from Safeway, and Gene's truck was steaming so we took him to Jessica's house.

Tuesday: Went to the mall where Gene asked every person we passed if they liked his hat. Made MORE pasta [[can you believe we still have pasta left in our house?]]. Went to bible study at Ptarmigan.

Wednesday: Went to Nat's game. Had a girl's night at Red Robin which did not include pasta amazingly {Me, La, Meg, T}. Made some new inside jokes. Met a sweet waitress from Michigan//Texas//Florida. Babysat the Isbell boys.

Quote of the day: "That's where it is." [[from mine and Lauren's favorite song by Carrie Underwood. :)

Okay so basically... I have so much to do before we leave. It's crazy. But I'm pumped [[thats mine and Jess' sweet owrd]]. Oh yeah and Dylan got beat up by a girl{Jessica}.

Okay... so basically [[have you noticed I start out everything with that saying?]] the winter retreat was the most amazing trip ever!!!

First off, Brent did an incredible job speaking to everyone in all of the sessions we had, and the discussion groups we had were great!!! The thing that really got me was endurance. Endurance is following God even when things get hard, which is something I really do struggle with. When something isn't going right... I usually try to take over and do things my own. I think I can fix it myself. But after Brent read the story about Joseph [[which I have read before a few times, but never really taken it in ]], I saw how many terrible things happened to him[[being sold as a slave by his brothers, being thrown in jail]], and instead of trying to fix things on his own, he turned to God. In the end Joseph interpreted the king's dream and ended up saving thousands of people's lives. God knows what He is doing, and although we might not see the big picture, He does. I also really liked being with some of the girls from my middle school small group and hearing their input on what we were learning. It awesome to see how different some of them are since I first met them!!!!!

I'd have to say that a majority of the time spent up in the mountains was spent tubing. When we got there Thursday, we [[Jess, Gene, Dylan, Justin, George, and some middle school boys]] went down this steep hill nest to the lodge. At the bottom was a tree with a huge hole around it. Jessica and I crashed into the hole and I basically got sucked into the bottom of it. haha. On Friday morning, Jessica and I decided to wake up with all the guys and go tubing at 6AM. To answer you question, yes we were tired. And YES IT WAS FREEZING. The wind was blowing the coldest air of my life... so Jess and I sat on the ground with our backs to the wind to keep warm. haha. Of course we went more than once... and the afternoon tubing session was spectaularrrrr. hehe. We decided to try to jump the snow bank at the bottom of the hill. We came very close about 50 times... and another 50 we ran into a little set of trees. Also one of the times we completely plowed down TWO kids at the bottom of the hill. Don't worry, there were any SERIOUS injuries. Later [[6PM]] we took a shuttle to an actual tubing place. The fastest lane there... at the very end, was definitely the best. Once I went all the way to the bottom, across the walkway, and up the hill at the end. Another time I jumped a HUGE hole underneath a tree at the bottom. And lastly I am pretty sure that I crashed into Jessica. I could be wrong... but I think it was her. Then I hit my head and had to go back up to the lodge to rest with my madre.

When we were at the lodge, not having a session and not tubing, we were playing cards. Jess, Gene, Dylan, My mom, and I played 31, first betting with goldfish, then Swedish fish. I don't know why we were obsessed with fish but it was the only food we had. I pretty much lost both times, but it was still fun.

Both nights, the girls had thier traditional bedtime stories. I think that they were the ninth and tenth stories?? [[Girls of Grace, both fuels, all three NavPoints, and both other mountain trips]]. Farah has such a great story reading voice!!! hehe.

Now, the last day was the bad part. I know I didn't say anything about a bad part at the beginning, but I wanted you to read the whole thing. Anyways... The bus was supposed to be there at 10:30 right? Okay wrong. It got there around 2-ish. Now, there was a group of doctors that arrived at the lodge at 10:30... so we were confined to the small, crowded kitchen area. Yes, all what? 50 of us I think. Yeah it was borderline amazing... not. haha. We played basically every game anyone could think of, and finally had lunch. When the bus got there and we got on, I am pretty sure I fell asleep in the first 5 minutes.

It was a long couple days... and its only Saturday night [[okay technically Sunday morning because I am up late]]. But I definitely had fun!!!

Quote: "Ich bin zwei jahre alt." --Dax. Translated: I am two years old. [[yes I taught a two year old German. He is a genius.]]

Oh man I am so excited for the mountains... it is going to be incredible. haha. Everyone else better be excited too because, well... you just should. I will add more later when I am in a typing mood.

[[Later]]

Okay so I am in more of a typing mood now. Only one more full day until the wonderful mountain trip. Tomorrow will be kind of a long day. I am sure it will take forever and ever and ever... but Thursday should go by super quick. We have an assembly, then I have German [[sweet class]], then TA for the counseling center, and finally early dismissal!!! YAYY!!! I think we are going to Wal Mart or something... I am kind of out of the loop because Dylan and Justin just start talking and its like a code. They are confusing but oh well I guess we'll all figure it out on Thursday. Anyways then finally Jessica will get out of school, and Amanda and anyone else not getting and early dismissal... and we will go to the MOUNTAINS!!! Ahhh I am so excited its amazing.

There is something better though. Once we get back everyone will be like yeah that was fun... and they will all look forward to spring break right? And me too right? WRONG!! I will be looking forward to going to ALABAMA!!! Yeahhh!!!

Quote for the day: "What kind of music plays on your head?... A head-band!!!!"

Today I got the coolest Valentine's Day card ever from Mackenzie. It is very beautiful I think I am going to put it up on my bulliten board. It is purple and has a drawing on the back... its just awesome. But that reaminds me how much I love making Valentine's Day cards. Natalie and I are having a party tomorrow to make a whole bunch of them!! So if you are friends with either of us... consider yourself lucky, because you are going to make some pretty sweet cards. haha. I am excited. :)

Yesterday was pretty much the funniest day of my life. I have never laughed that much...[[EXCEPT when me and Talicia were out to dinner and she made me choke on water I was laughing so hard.]] So at school... it was the easiest day ever. A whole bunch of kids were gone to Jostens [[A leadership thing]], and I had a sub in 4th period. He was cool except for the fact that he lived in Eatonville. We gave him a hard time; and can you imagine he didn't know Orting and Eatonville are rivals?!? It was crazy. (So Michael told him he needed to choose between Orting and Eatonville... I'm not sure which he picked). Anyways after school we had an Honor Society Meeting, where Dylan asked like 50 stupid questions. haha. "Are the people at the Soldier's Home old?" Answer: DUHHH. lol. It was really funny. Later I went over to Jessica's, and then we all went out to Denny's [[Me, Jess, Gene, Dylan, Matt, and Justin]]. Then we hung out at Jessica's and just talked about stuff... which got me REALLY excited about the winter retreat!!!!

Now I am getting ready to go to Safeway and buy all this stuff to make cookies and sandwiches [[for at the old soldiers home]]. OHH and Dr. Pepper for at Taylor's house. Then after all this Honor Society Stuff... me, Jessica, and Talicia are babysitting Dax and Cole, and then Jess and I are making dinner for Gene Justin and Dylan. Mmmmm its going to be so so so good.

Quote: "WOO HOO!! YEAHHH!!! YAY!!! I WON!! YAH!!!**banging on claw machine window**" --Matt after he won a stuffed animal at Denny's.

finally...

WE ARE FINALLY SELLING OUR HOUSE!!! WOO HOO!!!

Haha okay so maybe it is not THAT exciting but I think it is. I like moving, and considering most of my stuff has been in storage for the past 7 months... I don't have much packing to do. :) That's always nice. The bad part of this deal is our house has to be clean 24/7 because people are going to start coming and looking at it on SUNDAY!!! Its so close I know, but hey maybe someone will actually buy it this time [[If you didn't know it was almost sold like two months ago and the guy changed his mind after signing most of the papers...so yeah now we are trying again.]] Okay so that is all for now. I have to go clean up my room a little better. hehe.

For waking up late and arguing with my brother, my day took a much better turn once I got to school. In leadership me and Jessica made the most amazing posters, one for INterhigh and one for Valentine's Day... but both were pink and red. hehe. We also splatter painted them but it kinda looks like blood (sad life huh?). The rest of my day went by pretty fast because I had a lot of work, but thankfully no homework. At lunch, Jessica, Justin, and I made plans for the funnest time ever. Since Dylan can't come we decided to do everything he loves. Jessica and I are making chicken alfredo pasta stuff, hot pockets, and of course drinking Dr. Pepper. Then we were thinking of calling up Krystal, and maybe even stealing his best friend Brian to hnag out with us. haha jk. Anyway...

After school Talicia and I went over to the Isbell's to watch Dax and Cole. We decided to take them for a walk which was sooo funny. Dax repeated everythgin we said... so when Talicia said "I love teryaki.", that because Dax's new phrase for the rest of the walk. And let me tell you he can say teryaki really good for a 2 year old. After we were done there, we came home and got ready for dinner... which was spent at the Ram on South Hill.

Now I am just kinda sitting here looking forward to this weekend, and next weekend, and MARCH 9TH. Oh my goodness only 29 more days. Can you believe it?

Quote of the day: "You...are...watching...me...throw...the ball... Meagan Makiii!!" -Dax [[He kept pausing in between words]]

yes i cant spell and thi s will prove it. i wil l type this whoe lthing without corredcting anything. so number on e i cant sepll and number 2 i cant type either. myabe i am goign too fast or somethign or i am just not paying enough attention but hrer are my most commonly miseplled words. [[OKay from now on I am fixing the spelling]]

like- liek

the-teh

that-taht

definitely- definetly (I just figured that one out)

whole- whoel

have-ahve

OKay so I am a bad typer and speller. But guess what... half the people I have met in my life spell my name wrong [[Megan, Meghan, MEAGAGAJSHAPIOHAOGAN... who knows what they do.]] so I think that I can type and spell badly if I want. But I don't want to so you all are lucky. hehe.

Last night I definetly did not hang out with Dylan. I didn't see Talicia either, or Gene, or Jess. I didn't make the BEST pasta//chicken alfredo. And me Talicia and Dylan definetly didn't eat it. I know that I didn't drive to South Hill, go to WalMart, or the drive thru at McDonalds. Dylan and Gene didn't make friends with the drive thru lady, and we definetly did not get coffee at Big Foot Java [[which did you know they are not open 24 hours a day?]]. Last night was probably the most boring, uneventful night ever. Not to mention, I only got 5 hours of sleep doing NOTHING. haha.

Okay... so this blog might not be that funny or entertaining... sorry guys. haha. But really... right now I am talking to Amanda Otis... about our old friendship. In case you didn't know, we were inseparable. Best friends. Sisters. My parents were her parents and hers were mine. We spent basically every minute together and when we weren't, we were probably talking on the phone or online. I can honestly say I have NEVER had a friend that close before, and its sad. Of course I miss being friends, and I know she does too [[since duhhh we are talking about it right now]]. But it really is sad how something like that can end over something so little as a fight. After being such good friends... [[we stayed at each other's houses ALL the time, went on every vacation together, and had the best inside jokes of my life]]... I can definetly admit that when we started fighting, it was the worst time of my life. For every bit that I loved her as a friend, I hated her that much more when we were fighting. We couldn't look at each other, and we had to sit at the same table at lunch!! The sound of her name made me cringe and everything she did annoyed me. Now we are friends again... which is weird. We talk about the funny things we have done in the past, like play secret agents, drive the golf cart, and watch the "river people". But it still is sad that our friendship will never be the same.

This has happened more recently too, at least the losing a friend part. But it didn't happen in the same way. We were best friends too... but since we aren't on good terms right now... its kind of hard to talk about. Just like with Amanda, I don't even know what started this shift in friends, but now we don't even talk. It's like one day... we stopped hanging out. We stopped talking. We stopped basically everything. Now its like we weren't even friends to begin with, which is sad because I really do love her. Lately we're always fake around each other... not like when Amanda and I didn't get along and didn't talk. We can look at each other, say hi, smile or whatever... and yet inside I know I am seriously mad at her, and I know for a fact she's mad at me too. And for what reason? Yeah beats me.
But anyways if you really read this whole thing... man you have a lot of time on your hands. But truly losing friends sucks. Thats about all I have to say.

Quote for today: "THEY FOUND IT!!" or German version, "SIE HABEN ES GEFUNDEN!!" [[mine and Amanda's best inside joke]].

Yes that's right, I cracked and told Justin who put the egg on his truck. haha. It was great. And he wasn't even mad!!!! I was basically cornered with a water bottle over my head and I don't know why he wasn't threatening Dylan too... ANYWAYS... I screamed for my mom and she just laughed so I pretty much had no choice but to say it was me. Then he STILL dumped water on me. WOW. I should have said it was Dylan and Gene, then maybe he would have dumped the water on him. So yeah basically that was the most exciting part of my night, sadly. Nothing fun, I think its because we didn't have Gene and Jess [[and because Justin came]]. hhaahha JUST JOKING. Okay so not really, but I am super tired and need to stop typing. I don't have a quote because I can barely keep my eyes open. Sorryyy. I will come up with one tomorrow because I have a feeling tomorrow will be a lot more fun than tonight was. :)

Well... as some people may know, my dad busted the water pipes in the garage earlier this winter when he decided to wash his truck in 28 degree weather. Since then, I turned on the water [[during winter break I think]], and the garage ceiling started raining. So my excuse was that I was trying to make a pool in the attic, but my dad didn't think that was very cute. Now, at exactly 8:20PM, my dad accidnetly turned on the water in the garage again and VOILA... we have ourselves another pool. Personally I think we should just buy a pool, it would be way easier than this whole attic thing, but I don't know I guess its the cool thing to do. Now my family is frantically running around the getting towels and buckets to catch the drips from our ceiling, not to mention now we can't wash our hands or flush the toilet until it is all cleaned up [[that would add to the water]]. Pretty much I think it is the funniest thing ever. My parent's don't think its so funny so I won't laugh in front of them.

Quote..."I told you not to wash your truck when it was that cold outside!!!"

Okay, so everyone reading this is probably like... hmmm this has got to be good. Everyone needs good advice right? Right. Okay so here it is. If you ever decide to take German II [[which is your first mistake]], do not attempt to take it TWO YEARS after you completed German I. You might as well be taking Spanish III... that is how hard it is.

OKay so onto something good. Farah will love this... I got a Dr. Pepper. I have it right now, in fact I think I will take a nice big drink of it since it is here with me. Ahhh refreshing. Yes Amanda and mine's thirstyness was saved by Justin bringing us a HUGE Dr. Pepper, and it is extra crisp. Hmmmm you know when you get those really good Dr. Peppers? Like they are just crisp and so thirst quenching and not flat at all?? [[Yes Cameron it is bad to shake up pop and I will KILL you if you try to shake mine up... the German word for kill is totem, one thing I HAVE learned.]] MMhmmm okay so I am probably like torturing anyone that is addicted to Dr. Pepper and doesn't have one by their side. Sorry about that. haha.

And for my amazing, fantastic, spectacular quote... well I don't have one. But I guess I could just go with this...
"zzzzzzzzsssssssszzsssssss" [[That is the fizzing sound coming from my Dr. Pepper.]]

I extrememly dislike Wednesdays. They are boring and drag on foreverrrrrrrrrrrr. The best part about Wednesday is the time I am sleeping, because sleep is always good. Other than that I can't see any good in this day, but I am excited for this weekend.
#1-- I am going ice skating... the coolest sport ever. The only thing better than ice skating is broom hockey because I am pro. haha.
#2--I don't have any plans for Saturday which means we will most likely have a movie night. This always happens when there is nothing to do. And I will probably get to hang out with the coolest girl I know, Talicia, during the day. Farah if you are reading this we would be more than happy to babysit Saturday anytime. haha.
#3--The Superbowl.
Okay so this weekend got my mind of today, which is good. Also I just remembered that tomorrow is career day...and I am babysitting for 3 different people!!! OKay well 2 and then I am goign to see Amanda while she is babysitting, but still. lol. It is sweet!!!

And the my awesome quote for today..."Wir werfen eine ei an das Auto." You are allowed to lie in German accoring to Herr Hodel, so I made up that sweet sentence.
