brrrrrrrr.

IT IS SO STINKING FREEZING COLD OUTSIDE.

And I have to go to a Daffodil thing tonight. In a skirt. In the negative 5 degree weather.

I am pretty sure Talicia said it was going to snow today... except for the fact that there wasn't a cloud in the entire sky. :]
Its cold enough though.

Quote of the day:

"Why does your dog only like you?" --little boy at the football game.
ANSWER: He doesn't even like me most of the time. Darn dog. haha.

for Cole :)

Life in Washington this past week is great!!!!! The weather has been cold [perfect for Starbucks haha], and school has been pretty easy [two days off and the rest of the week half days].

On Monday, Amanda, Talicia and I went up to Seattle for the afternoon/evening. We went to Pike Place Market, tons of stores, Coldstone, and even Barnes and Noble [which is SWEET in Seattle]. After all that jazz, we headed for Seattle Pacific to A: see Taylor and the college and B: go to a college fair at the church across from the school. We got lost on the way there... and ended up on the express lanes to who knows where. We were at one point directly across the water from where we needed to be, and I was pretty sure that I was going to live in Amanda's jetta for the rest of my life under a bridge in Seattle. We finally found our way, met up with Taylor, and attended the fair. Which leads me to the subject that gives me the most headaches: college and the application process.

I still working on filling these things out. One is completely done [Auburn], two are very close..I still need recommendations[Corban and Masters], and one I have barely started [AUM]. I don't think I have ever written my address so many times, or talked so much about my "character traits that would improve the campus". Basically I am still completely undecided on where I am going to go.

So there you go Cole. Glad you reminded me to update!!!

ew

I extrememly dislike text messaging. I just figured this out yesterday. It makes people crazy, and on their phone 24/7. At school, at home, IN THE CAR, at the mall, in bed, almost in their sleep!! I am actually glad my phone's text messaging is so slow and expensive. It makes me not be able to be addicted. :]

life update.

My name is still Meagan.
I still have a green car.
I have gotten pulled over TWICE in the past two weeks... but for nothing I did.
My hair is still blonde, and I still don't know how to wear my contacts.
I still LOVE babysitting, and still need a job.
I recently got a kitten. Okay wait no, I just recently wanted one, and still do.
I have not gotten hurt, sick or beat up. Actually I have never gotten beat up.
School is still boring, but I am doing well. YAY. :]
I am getting my hair cut tomorrow.
I [and partially Talicia] saved Matthew's life today.
I am still going to go to college.
I am practicing looking people in the eye all the time. Saige gave me a staredown in Chaseplace the other day, man she is good!!!! haha.
I am still wondering why David hasn't updated his blog in five years. Is anyone else???

So... I love the idea of making lists. Ahhh it is just amazing. I once made a list of 100 things no one knew about me. Now I only got to 30, but I looked back and realized a few things have changed. The quick corrections include:

1. My favorite color is now orange. :]
2. I have added two states to my list of places I've been: Georgia and Ohio.
3. I STILL miss eating twizzlers and drinking Cherry Coke after 222 bible study.
4. I actually AM a senior now. And have been one for a month!!

Okay so for my REAL top ten list. Really the top eleven reasons why Orting is amazing.

11. There is an AMAZING pumpkin patch called Spooner Farms complete with a corn maze.
10. You can get from any one place to another within five minutes.
9. The OHS football team is amazing!!!
8. If you have nothing to do, Safeway is always there, and you will ALWAYS see someone you know.
7. If you are in a hurry, you can go through the NEW Starbucks drive-thru, or any of the other 28927 coffee stands in town.
6. It never gets a million degrees with 1000% humidity.
5. You have no trouble getting a Christmas tree.
4. There is always cell phone service.
3. You don't ever have to worry about bugs... except maybe a spider every now and then.
2. There is this BEAUTIFUL thing right at the center of town's view called Mt. Rainier.
1. The people= AMAZING.

:)

I decided this year, at the end of the summer, that I would read the entire bible stright through without skipping around. I have tried this a lot, and can't even count how many times I have read about the first 10 chapters of Genesis. But this time I was serious. I have read Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and I am about halfway through Numbers. It is probably one the hardest things I have ever done, but this is amazing how God keeps me doing it...

So I read about 20 minutes a night, besides doing whatever is in that EC magazine thing, and whatever other book I am reading for school or whatever. I put aside at least 20 minutes just for this. Sometimes it is so boring, and I can't concentrate at all. Right as I start to drift off or stop reading, God shows me something amazing I had never noticed. A verse that applies to something I have been dealing with, an SAT word that we are learning in College Bound english at school, or most recently my own last name in a list of "son of's". There have been a lot of recent conversations about things where what I read the night before is a direct reference to what we were talking about or doing. Its amazing, and I can't wait to read more, and have more instances where what I read, God shows me in another area of my life. Its great.
