week.

Some exciting highlights of the week:

1. Babysat.

A. Ate popsicles... which somehow I got Saige sized handprints of popsicle on my jeans.

B. Helped Lucas play this math game which I am completely horrible at. The asteroid things go way too fast.

C. Hid from the monsters!!!

2. Saw the movie Click.

A. It was really funny at first.

B. Then it got REALLY sad.

C. Katy cried. And Dylan breathes REALLY loud.

3. Had some strange phone conversations.

A. I got a call with the song Ms New Booty playing... almost the whole song. That song inspired me and Amanda to become rappers and take over the world. Longgg story. :)

B. I called Dylan last night and I can't remember why... and he called back at 7:50 AM!!! Yeah so it definetly woke me up.

C. I talked to Dax... and I couldn't understand him very well, but he did say that he was going swimming. And when I asked him if I could come visit he said YES!!!

I spent this weekend in Moses Lake with my family [and Amanda O.]. We have stayed at this golf course every June for 7 years so my dad can play in an annual golf tournemet. A lot of our family friends go too, and most of them have kids. Its basically the coolest event of the year, and luckily this year we get to do it twice! [ We're going back for a different tournement, same people, in July].

Anyways... Amanda and I spengt the entire weekend laying by the pool, jumping in every 15 or so minutes to cool off. Amanda turned completely red on her front side... her legs matched my shorts!!! Thankfully I tan pretty easily, so I escaped teh redness. When the heat got to be too much [ sometime Sunday afternoon when the car temperature read 98], we headed for the Air Conditioned camper to watch movies.

Every night we choked on all the bug spray we put on, and Amanda STILL got bit. At least twice. We sat around in a whole nuch of chairs by our snowmobile trailor... and all the adults just talked about random stuff. We also have this bean bag toss game that Amanda and I pretty own at. We beat Jarvis and Chevy. But Chevy is pretty good, he beat my dad. And my dad plays a lot.

So I think the best part was probably last night... Almost everyone went home except us and the Johnsons. My dad and Jim [Johnson] and Jarvis and Wylie [Johnson], went golfing [ once it cooled down to about 90 ], and we all went along and watched. Jarvis is kind of obsessed with Bob Marley for some reason, so the entire time they were golfing we had Bob Marley on the Golf Cart stereo. I also drove Amanda and I through the sprinklers... and when we got done, we went for a late night swim. We had dinner at 10... which is late but it was cool enough to start up the barbeque. It was probably the best dinner I've ever had, just because I was so hungry [ hot dogs, caesar salad, PASTA... I don't remember what else].

Now we are finally home and what do you know... its just as hot in Western Washington as it is in Eastern Washington. Oh well. I like it.

summertime.

This past week has been a pretty great way to start off the summer break. It started Monday... babysitting Mackenzie and Saige. We watched Spongebob [for the 4th time... its great!], colored pictures, and of course, played in the creek. I may sound like a little kid, but the creek is so fun. Except there's this green stuff in it and it really grosses me and Mackenzie out. Even more when Mackenzie splashes me with the greenish water. Then after we were done babysitting, we [ Amanda Talicia and I ] began our house sitting adventure. But first we went on a driving mission. We were looking for the drive-ins, which we never found. Instead we got lost a couple times, had Wired energy drinks, which made us extremely hyper, and chased by these Mexicans who wanted Talicia's number. Its been pretty great, considering we have a whole house to ourselves, and the cutest guard dog ever. Okay so maybe he is a just a puppy but still... Chase is great. Tuesday we had a movie night, which included us three and Katy. We planned on watching Big Fish and Forrest Gump, but were too tired. Instead we watched Big Fish until 12:00AM, so we could tell Talicia happy birthday, and then went to sleep. We ended up watcing the movie the next morning. On Wednesday for Talicia's birthday, Me and Amanda made her a cake. Then we went to Red Robin with Lauren and had an amazing dinner before goign to the drive-ins. yes we actually found them this time, but the sound didn't work, so we missed most of the first movie, and slept through the second one. It was still a blast! That has pretty much been consuming our whole week, but today I got to hang out with Gene and Jess, then Dylan. Talicia and I met Gene and Jess up on Bonney Lake so Jess could get some work clothes. Gene of course tried on skirts and some cowboy boot type things. Talicia and I also saw the shoes that are kind of like Crocs... which we need to get. But they weren't the same. It was entertaining. Then in Target Talicia and I lost Gene and Jessica, but had our own adventures around the store. Most of them made us think of Farah [ you wouldn't get it... trust me ]. Then once we found Jessica and Gene, we got in a conditioner fight [sort of]. I was holding it to smell it and Gene went to squeeze the bottle but I moved it just in time to get only a tiny bit in my hair, but a ton all over Talicia's jacket. At least we smelled good right? Then we went back to my house [ me and Talicia], and Dylan came over. He pretty much ate all out food. Actually he DID eat all our food, but there wasn't much there since it is all packed to go camping. For some reason Dylan was on his laptop in the kitchen while Talicia and I looked at Volkswagon Vans in teh office... and we had a conversation on INstant Messenger... even though we were one room away from each other, and could hear the other person typing. Lame I know... but it was fun. Now T and I are just chilling up at the house, which is all clean and nice. Tomorrow I am heading out for Moses Lake with Amanda... which is going to be SWEEET. I am so excited. I'll write all about it when we get back. :]]

PS- Sorry if there are spelling errors... I am too tired to correct them and the spell check is blocked on this computer for some reason?

Instead of being all mushy [which I could totally do :) ], I am going to say a little sweet story about each Isbell, because everyone seems to be writing about them. Actually its more of a memory with each person. Anyway... onward:

The High Fiver aka David: OKay so I have two memories for you. The first one: mudding with Justin and Dylan. Driving up that one hill in the jeep, then satnding up there watching Justin try 500 times was the best. It won't be the same without you [if we ever go again]]. The second one: driving to or from Birmingham... it was night and I finally got to ride up front. We were listening to Third Day on the Ipod and I remember everyone was singing. Especially Cameron because he was sitting right behind me so it was right in my ear. Anyways you kinda looked over and asked, "Does it feel like we're going 80?" It was pretty fun. Those times totally make up for you pushing me off a rock in Cannon Beach, and for making me cry on the airplane.

The Hugger aka Farah: My memory with you is actually on the day I found out you guys were moving. That afternoon, after you guys came home with Dax all stitched up, was pretty much amazing. We watched Chicken Little with Dax, who told me not to close my eyes. Then you spelled out this...Y-o-u c-a-n c-l-o-s-e y-o-u-r e-y-e-s i-f y-o-u w-a-n-t b-e-c-a-u-s-e t-h-e-n D-a-x w-i-l-l s-l-e-e-p. I can't believe I actually followed you and your speed spelling. Then once Dax and Cole were sleeping, we layed on the sloor and listened to Rascal Flatts, then we watched Big Fish and just talked and hung out. I have so many more amazing memories with you... but that one stands out the most.

The Pound-it Kid aka Dax: Well I know you can't read, and like Megan said in her blog... hopefully your mom will read this too you. I have endless memories with you, babysitting you, going on trips with you, and watching you run around in Chaseplace. You tell me the funniest things, and I love it when you flex your muscles [You must be pretty strong]. But the best memory was on the last Sunday you were here. I was leaving Chaseplace and like always said, "Bye Dax, I love you!" Usually you just keep on playing... or wave. But this time you said, "I love you too!" I was so happy. That is one of the best ever. Another quick good memory is when you were asking your mom if you could say Roll Tide. You're hilarious.

The Spitter-upper aka Baby Cole: I know you're only a baby, but I hope this memory doesn't embarass you. We were in Alabama and it was super hot out. I am pretty sure it was the first day we were there, and your mom dropped you off at Chris and Trudie's house for us to watch you. I don't think you adjusted to the heat very well, because you were so sweaty!!! So we took off your shirt to wash it and dry it, and sat with you in the living room. You pretty much had endless rolls, but it was the cutest thing ever. Don't worry, Dax's chubbiness went away, and I'm sure yours will too pretty soon :].

The Licker aka Faith: I didn't know you even existed for the first year I knew David and Farah. But once I saw you, I couldn't help but let you out whenever I was babysitting. I don't have a memory with you, but I like you.

So last Sunday started out normal. Went to church and then lunch with David and Farah. We decided to go to Arby's, and it was pretty good. Then David suggested we go camping since we had no school on Monday [Memorial Day]. Of course Talicia, Dylan and I were all for it, and we went home to get ready. It was about 1pm and David said to meet at Ptarmigan at 2. So we called Justin, Megan, and some other people who ended up not being able to come, and all met at 2pm in the school parking lot. I'm pretty sure we didn't know where we were going, except that it was somewhere near the ocean. David just started driving and we looked at a map. We ended up at a KOA in Ilwaco. Probably two minutes after the tent for Justin and Dylan was set up, it started POURING down rain. Then stopped really fast. We just hung around the campground and made a fire [which got rained on], and then Talicia Meg and I did a rain dance. The next day we went to Cape Disappointment [where we are at the top picture]. We hiked A LOT but it was awesome. Once we got to the top of this one trail and saw we were on the oppisite side from the lighthouse, we hiked back down and went the other way. Along that way we came to the most AWESOME place ever. It was a little inlet from the ocean and it seriously looked like it was from a movie. The only problem was a sign that said "EXTREMEMLY hazardas Conditions, no access to beach." I was pretty bummed but at least we go to see it. Up this huge hill and around a corner was the lighthouse. We stopped there for a while and looked aorund before we headed back down. I think we saw an eagle somewhere up there, but I didn't get a picture. Anyways sometime during the day we saw an old military bunker. It was so cool except for the creepy writings people put on the walls. We ran aroudn in there for a while and video taped it. It had a jail cell thing, some rooms where people slept [I'm guessing?], and just random hallways that went all around under this hillside. So after all the hiking and runnign around the fort, we decided to drive into Seaside for lunch and to go to the beach. We walked along the main part in Seaside and went down to the water. This was all after we searched for a parking spot as close as possible. Then we headed home and pretty much slept most of the way back, but it was GREAT. Maybe we got rained on, and didn't take a shower that day, and had nine people and a dog in one RV, but it was definetly the best trip ever!!!!
