New Years Eve 2004... it has already been an entire year!!! Last year where was I at this same moment? The mountains of course. Probably playing Mafia or owning 7th graders at card games. Yes I am pro at spoons... as well as many other games. haha. Anyway where I am now? Being boring typing on my computer. What kind of person really has time for this?
Okay so 2005 was pretty much an amazing year. I can't begin to say how many new friendships I was blessed with... and how many fun memories I have with all of them. Its no doubt that this summer brought us together the closest. There were endless movie nights, trips to the lake and drive-ins, and plenty of times floating down the river.
I also became a lot closer with my family, especially in the past couple months. I have never really had a hard time getting along with them [[except when I want to go somewhere and they won't let me, but thats understandable]].
More than anything, this year has brought me closer to God. I'm still not perfect, of course. I don't know if He wants me to be a teacher or an astronaut... but I know that I will figure it out. He has shown me how to lead others and follow Him. I am excited for what He will show me next year... especially as I get closer to graduating and going to college... all that fun stuff.
I know 2006 will be just as memorable as 2005... maybe even more so. This time next year... maybe I can write a book. :) haha just joking. But you never know!
