life alert

Well today I did my job shadow. Not too exciting considering its not the job I truly want to pursue, but it was alright.
The teacher was explaining to her kindergarteners that I was a senior in high school. Now think... kindergarteners dont know what freshman, sophomores, juniors, or seniors are... so they were a bit confused. I know this because after she said that and let them begin working, a cute little red headed boy told me: "Senior citizens need to wear Life Alert." [pointing to his heart.] So I mean obviously I am not a senior citizen but he didn't know what a senior in high school is. Pretty funny. Random day.

update #463

Okay so maybe its not 463, but its close. Blogger blogger blogger. I love blogger. Maybe I am just really tired, or maybe I extremely bored... but for some reason I think this is funny:

OKay so just over a year ago... no one really had a blogger. Then David got one, and of course he came to church and was like, "Dude, I got this cool new thing called a blogger, go check it out." Everyone was like yeah David... pshhh thinks he's cool. What the heck is a blogger? Then after a week or so... other people started getting bloggers. Next thing you know... everyone has one and updates regularly. Now... back then I really didnt see the point of it. I mean, everyone lived within 5 miles of each other, and most much closer than that. We could all easily walk down the road and say what we posted on our blogs.

But THENNNN... people sorta moved. The tigers moved out to like, a million miles away from Orting, David and Farah moved numerous places until just recently landing in Georgia, Amanda went off to college, as well as Andy, Justin started college just in Puyallup, and Dylan moved to Florida.

Now blogger is a little more important, and more interesting. Now its not just the lives in Orting, but from all over. Although we all see the same picture of Sydnee and Sammy for MONTHS at a time, and re-read other blogs for weeks before there is an update... it is still pretty cool that everyone has one.

As for me... still praying about college and not sure where I am going. Recently became addicted to Grey's Anatomy, and baby carrots for some reason. haha. Can't get enough of either of them. And I am working hard on all my senior stuff: job shadow, culminating project, portfolio stuff, my classes in general, figuring out where the heck my class ring is, and applying for billions of scholarships. Exciting I know...:]

ahhh no

I want to go to Auburn SOOOO badly. Ask Mr. Tarry, I read and re-read their website, every little fact, every day in Journalism [When I should be doing ARTCLES... ha! Articles are overrated.] I check the mail every day [sorry mom I stole the mailbox key] for anything from Auburn, but since they are such a big school, it could take a while to get any sort of response.... you know?
But THEN... I come to Corban. And truthfully, I don't get that excited feeling that I do when I am at Auburn. But it does make me miss Amanda. And Mindy. And everyone else I have met here. And then I think of how fun it could be to go to Corban...
And thats where I get stuck. Ewww. I hate this. But I guess I will figure it out in time. :]
