Today mine and Nat's lesson for our class was that: God helps us be brave. We taught them about David and Goliath, made sweet David and Goliath figure things [on q-tips (David) and popsickle sticks (Goliath)], and built some towers to knock down [Goliath was the tower, and knocking it down was David defeating him].

I guess it made sense that later we went to see Facing the Giants. Besides having some pretty terrible acting, the movie was awesome. This coach at a small school is facing his sixth year of football after losing their star player to a rival team. A whole bunch of parents want his position replaced, and he overhears their meeting. After a man that continually comes to the school and prays over the students talks to the coach, he [the coach] decides to change his and the teams perspective on the game. They decide that win-praise God, lose-praise God. The team goes on and changes their losing streak, but they play a team called the Giants hence the name Facing the Giants. The end of the movie shows that nothing is impossible for God. Its pretty cool. Some parts are really cheesy, and the guy is kinda bad at crying. Other than that I really liked it.

On the way home, someone spotted that the Krispy Kreme light was on, and we made a quick u-turn for donuts. We played quarters [yeah I quit because Cameron is CRAZY at that game], and headed back to Reeves to get our cars [we drove the van]. Basically today was a pretty sweet day. :]
