life update.

My name is still Meagan.
I still have a green car.
I have gotten pulled over TWICE in the past two weeks... but for nothing I did.
My hair is still blonde, and I still don't know how to wear my contacts.
I still LOVE babysitting, and still need a job.
I recently got a kitten. Okay wait no, I just recently wanted one, and still do.
I have not gotten hurt, sick or beat up. Actually I have never gotten beat up.
School is still boring, but I am doing well. YAY. :]
I am getting my hair cut tomorrow.
I [and partially Talicia] saved Matthew's life today.
I am still going to go to college.
I am practicing looking people in the eye all the time. Saige gave me a staredown in Chaseplace the other day, man she is good!!!! haha.
I am still wondering why David hasn't updated his blog in five years. Is anyone else???

So... I love the idea of making lists. Ahhh it is just amazing. I once made a list of 100 things no one knew about me. Now I only got to 30, but I looked back and realized a few things have changed. The quick corrections include:

1. My favorite color is now orange. :]
2. I have added two states to my list of places I've been: Georgia and Ohio.
3. I STILL miss eating twizzlers and drinking Cherry Coke after 222 bible study.
4. I actually AM a senior now. And have been one for a month!!

Okay so for my REAL top ten list. Really the top eleven reasons why Orting is amazing.

11. There is an AMAZING pumpkin patch called Spooner Farms complete with a corn maze.
10. You can get from any one place to another within five minutes.
9. The OHS football team is amazing!!!
8. If you have nothing to do, Safeway is always there, and you will ALWAYS see someone you know.
7. If you are in a hurry, you can go through the NEW Starbucks drive-thru, or any of the other 28927 coffee stands in town.
6. It never gets a million degrees with 1000% humidity.
5. You have no trouble getting a Christmas tree.
4. There is always cell phone service.
3. You don't ever have to worry about bugs... except maybe a spider every now and then.
2. There is this BEAUTIFUL thing right at the center of town's view called Mt. Rainier.
1. The people= AMAZING.

:)

I decided this year, at the end of the summer, that I would read the entire bible stright through without skipping around. I have tried this a lot, and can't even count how many times I have read about the first 10 chapters of Genesis. But this time I was serious. I have read Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and I am about halfway through Numbers. It is probably one the hardest things I have ever done, but this is amazing how God keeps me doing it...

So I read about 20 minutes a night, besides doing whatever is in that EC magazine thing, and whatever other book I am reading for school or whatever. I put aside at least 20 minutes just for this. Sometimes it is so boring, and I can't concentrate at all. Right as I start to drift off or stop reading, God shows me something amazing I had never noticed. A verse that applies to something I have been dealing with, an SAT word that we are learning in College Bound english at school, or most recently my own last name in a list of "son of's". There have been a lot of recent conversations about things where what I read the night before is a direct reference to what we were talking about or doing. Its amazing, and I can't wait to read more, and have more instances where what I read, God shows me in another area of my life. Its great.

This is for anyone who went to riot last year... remember when we used to always go to Mcdonalds Tuesday nights??? And then David would ask us a million questions... and when you would ask him something he would say, " What do YOU think?" [Trying to sound smart]. Anyways this post I was just reading from January, when we still had our after 222 high school bible study, was pretty sweet. I used to always write quotes of the day, and this was the quote, "YES." -David Isbell. I don't even remember what he asked us, but Justin gave an answer, and David said YES!!! It was amazing. I think we were going to have a party but we didn't. Anyways, I was just reminded of that. It was great. :]

I seriously LOVE days like today. [Besides getting rear-ended by a dumb girl. Long story.] I think I am obsessed with rain and coldness. Its kinda weird, but I have been looking forward to THIS day... [well weather like this day] all summer. I like the heat, even in Alabama, but my favorite weather is rain. All day I heard Amanda complaining about the cold, and to walk fast because her hair was getting wet [no offence Amanda :) ], but I could have just stayed outside all day. Then, during a yearbook adventure to Safeway 6th period, Katy, Jarvis, Amanda and I stopped at Starbucks. Seriously, how much better does coffee taste when it is cold and rainy? [And also when the coffee didn't cost you anything :) ]. So we were standing on the busy street corner waiting to cross the street, white chocolate mocha in hand, and Katy said, "This is totally a Washington moment." I couldn't agree more. I love it.

Farah you should apprieciate this... its an antique Dr. Pepper cooler that we saw at a swap meet type thing in Packwood. We were camping with our whole family, and Packwood has a HUGE swap meet every Labor Day Weekend. There are like... 22,000 people there per day. Its crazy, but this was one of the coolest things I saw. It was $325.00. hah!!!

This is Amanda and I [for anyone who was wondering] on my 18th birthday party. I made cupcakes [easier clean-up for my mom], and put them on this sweet tower thingy. Well besides the fact that my face is part was cut off... its pretty darn brill[iant].

This is my favorite flower... a lily, and in my favorite color... orange. Its not a very clear picture but gosh I love that flower. :]

So there you go Farah. I updated it. :]

song.

Where'd you go?
I miss you so.
Seems like its been forever,
that you've been gone.

[haha]

So today we were at the Supermall [me, Dylan, T and David], and a thought occured to me. Besides the fact that I think about Auburn pretty much everyday [Maybe it means I want to go there? :) I don't know...], I recognized all the new UW/WSU stuff around in the stores. Sports stores, clothing stores, and Bed Bath and BEYOND. So it reminded me of course of all the Auburn/Alabama stuff I saw this summer. Anyways all this got me thinking about football and actually being at Auburn and what it would be like to go to school there... and then we left teh mall and I kinda forgot about it.

Then we went to dinner [pasta of course], with Gene and Jess, and later ended up going to the South Hill Mall. We had only been there about 5 minutes, and we saw a guy wearing an Auburn shirt!!!! In Puyallup... an Auburn shirt. It was weird, but cool. And I think it means that I am supposed to go to Auburn [Mom if you are reading this...don't you think that means I should?? :) ] So now [a little off subject] I am wondering... why doesn't UW and WSU have war cries? Like War Eagle and Roll Tide [eww.]? Or maybe they do and I just don't know. Anyone know the answer? [sorry for all the brackets I just have a lot of sidenotes].

Okay so the wonderful Amanda Reeves and I are having a great conversation on instant messenger. In case you didn't know... a common phrase... especially between us is "lol", meaning laugh out loud.
